Scientific Anglers have been making fly lines in Midland, Michigan for over 70 years and fly line technology has advanced so much over the years with new tapers, textures and coatings. More frequently these days lines are designed for specific applications too, offering far more choices for anglers – the days of just grabbing a 5 weight rod and stringing it up with just any 5 weight line are long gone!

When and where?
To simplify the process the Scientific Anglers team invite you to their ‘Bring Your Own Rod’ event at the Sportfish Game Fishing Centre over the weekend of 13th and 14th August 2016.

Simply come along and bring your fly rod, or rods, and the SA team will have a large range of demo lines for you to test cast on your own rod.
Who will be here?
The SA team will consist of Jeff Pierce, who is based at the Scientific Anglers HQ in Midland Michigan and is the head of foreign sales. Jeff will be joined by Steve Peterson who is the sales representative for the UK and Ireland.
Steve and Jeff will be on hand to answer any of your questions on SA products and to let you try out a range of lines to suit your rod and casting style.
